What good encouragment our pastor gave us at church today about the upcoming elections on Tuesday. I wanted to share what he said with you guys who were not there to hear it. The message was that whatever happens on Tuesday is what God has ordained to happen from the beginning of time. The encouragement was that we can rest in His sovereignty as the next President of the United States is decided upon.

From my notes: "God's throne is not up for election; our hope is not in the throne of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, our hope is in the throne of God."

So, I hope his words encourage you today as they encouraged me.

Let us continue to share the gospel whatever happens in this world and in our circumstances, and let us rejoice that the gospel will continue to go forth, whatever happens.

God bless and hugs to all,
Stacey

What a great post. One thing I keep reminding myself is that no matter who is elected into whatever office (President, Senate, local office, etc.) GOD is still in control. HE is neither Republican or Democrat...GOD is almighty! Praise HIM for His glorious works.
