The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot.
The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed,
I have a beautiful inheritance.

I bless the Lord who gives me counsel...
I have set the Lord always before me;
because He is at my right hand, I shall
not be shaken.

Therefore, my heart is glad, and my whole
being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.

Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him,
my salvation and my God.

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted
among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me;
to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!

My heart is steadfast,O God, my heart is steadfast!
I will sink and make melody! Awake, my glory!

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed,
and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgement.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and
their vindication is from me, declares the Lord.

Some scriptures that the Lord spoke to me with today. Do you have any to share that the Lord has been speaking to you with lately?

CONNIE'S THOUGHTS FROM THE HEART said...

We have been studing Proverbs 2

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

I want write out the whole chapter but, it tell us IF we will do some things Then some things will happen and When these things happen other things happen. It is a great chapter. Our Pasor has been teaching us this for a couple of times and It is becoming some of my favorite verses to add to the Many.lol I am so thankful for the Word of God. connie from Texas

Oh Connie I wish I could be there! I really like Proverbs two, especially the way you describe it.
